ILEA closed the training course on arms trafficking

Today we closed the virtual course on Small Arms Trafficking, which was taught  over three days by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives of the United States of America.

The training focused on areas related to the identification and tracing of homemade and counterfeit firearms, 3D printing of firearms, exploitation of social networks, techniques for investigating weapons on the Internet, security and operational planning, among other topics.

The synchronous sessions were attended by 45 law enforcement officials from Bahamas, Ecuador, Guatemala, Haiti, Mexico, Dominican Republic and El Salvador.
