ILEA closed program on leadership in a crisis situation

The International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA San Salvador), closed its Leadership in a Crisis Training Program developed by specialists from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC).

The law enforcement officials from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador were the beneficiaries of such important learning, which had as its main objective to reinforce the knowledge and reaction plans of emergency officials and managers, to hone their skills, which are so necessary during a critical event.

The course focused on the development of basic concepts, according to their variation and impact on different eventualities. Therefore, this program developed communication and decision making topics applicable to any difficult situation; addressing competencies in the areas of influence and negotiation, interpersonal skills, problem solving, crisis management, among others.

The authorities of ILEA San Salvador are convinced that the implementation of these trainings, and their innovative methodology, allow each participant to improve their capacity and skills in leadership matters.
