High Commissioner Osvaldo Ruben Mato (Argentine Federal Police)

Graduate of ILEA Law Enforcement Management Development Program (LEMDP-06) in 2007.

When Mr. Mato attended the course at ILEA (San Salvador), he had the title of Sub commissioner. In accordance with the acquired skills at ILEA, the institution presented the following institutional challenges to him: Creation of the Training Center for personnel in charge of the official’s custody and witness protection, and creation of the Retraining Center for Federal Officers. Since 2015 he was promoted to be the Director of the Cadet School. In 2016, he was entitled Chief of the Program “Barrio Seguro”, focused on the most vulnerable neighborhoods of the capital. In 2017, the Argentine Federal Police promoted him High Commissioner and he was designated General Director of Federal Territorial Intervention.   Mr. Mato attributes his success to the techniques learned in ILEA that further contributed to his professional advancement.
