ILEA San Salvador trained officials on public corruption cases

ILEA wrapped-up the course on Public Corruption Investigations and Law Enforcement Techniques, after three days of intense training sessions which was attended by 30 officials from Costa Rica, Honduras, Panama and El Salvador.

This training was successfully carried out thanks to the hard work of the instructors from the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), who provided the participants with specific techniques used in the investigation of corruption-related cases. In addition, they were able to review and develop standards of ethical conduct for law enforcement agencies.

In this way, the Academy reaffirms its commitment to help countries combat crimes of this nature, while inviting them to commit to strengthening the capacity of governments and their citizens to promote better transparency, accountability and public integrity.
