ILEA trained 37 officers in personnel and facilities security

The International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA San Salvador) wrapped up on Friday the course on   Personnel and Facilities Security, taught by instructors with extensive experience in the field of Diplomatic Security Service of the United States of America (DSS).

During two weeks of training, law enforcement officers were prepared in infrastructure protection, technical and physical security concepts, risk management in relation to threats to facilities and Internet technology.

This, through the preparation of scenarios that included a wide range of threats, detection methods, protection equipment, planning responses to weapons of mass destruction and the recognition and isolation of suspicious objects to protect potential victims, to effectively combat criminal activities.
