The International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA San Salvador), held the closing of the course on the Use of Intelligence in Organized Crime Investigations, which was delivered by the Federal Bureau of Investigation of the United States of America (FBI).
The FBI instructors provided participants with a practical overview of the intelligence cycle and the different types of evidence collection methods available to support and advance criminal investigations.
The main objective of the course was to provide relevant discussions and practical exercises that support the current missions of ILEA participants; to hold an innovative academic and practical application of methods and processes, which enhance operational effectiveness by integrating intelligence into operations.
Forty-five law enforcement officers from Bahamas, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Guyana, Honduras, Jamaica, Peru, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay and El Salvador participated in this training.
