ILEA and UNODC hold a conference on the impact of COVID19 on organized crime structures

The International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA San Salvador), in coordination with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), held the conference The Impact of COVID-19 on Organized Crime Structures

The keynote speech was given by UNODC security and organized crime specialist Ricardo Gómez Hecht, who explained to participants the current context of the pandemic, the challenges facing law enforcement institutions and the evolution of transnational organized crime with the new normal.

This important conference was attended by diplomatic representatives of the security agencies of the U.S. Embassy, as well as officials from the Supreme Court of Justice, the Attorney General's Office, the National Civil Police and the Armed Forces of El Salvador
