A delegation from Thailand, led by the directors of ILEA Bangkok, Adrew Cunney, for the Government of the United States and Major General Sal Poolsiri, for the Government of Thailand, visited the International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA San Salvador), with the purpose of sharing information and techniques to strengthen the work of both institutions.
During their stay in El Salvador, colleagues from Thailand had the opportunity to take a tour of ILEA San Salvador's facilities to evaluate the functioning of the modern technological equipment available to facilitate the training of the region's justice and security forces.
It is fundamental for both academies to establish bonds of friendship and cooperation. That allows them to share knowledge and experiences to reinforce the work of the five ILEAs in the world. This, with the same objective of minimizing the impact of all types of violence and eradicating transnational crime.
In this visit, also participated Ms. Jutatip Aonjan, Chief of Finance at the International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA), U.S. Embassy in Bangkok.
