The International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA San Salvador) graduated more than 35 law enforcement professionals from Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Uruguay and El Salvador on Anti-Gang, thanks to the collaboration of the National Civil Police of El Salvador.
The phenomenon of gangs has become a source of concern for governments because these criminal groups take over areas by resorting to intimidation, extortion and violence in the communities.
That is why the Anti-gang course focused on providing security and justice sector professionals the tools that will facilitate their investigative work with regard to gangs and gang-related crimes in their workplaces.
The training covered new trends in gang communications, international networks, and investigative techniques to more technically and professionally address gang proliferation.
ILEA San Salvador will continue to open training spaces, where they will be provided with the necessary knowledge and the best tools to streamline and professionalize the specialized work in the area of intelligence to prevent crimes linked to these groups.
