ILEA inaugurated the course on International Post Blast Investigations, which is under the direction of expert instructors from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives of the United States of America (ATF), and will last for two weeks.
It will include theoretical and practical classes that will allow law enforcement officers to identify the different types of explosives used in a detonation, as well as test their knowledge of evidence collection in the processing of a crime scene.
These exercises are designed to analyze the specific tasks of each member of the investigative team using ATF methods.
