After two weeks of intensive training, the International Academy for Law Enforcement (ILEA San Salvador) officially closed the course on Cyberexploitation and Investigation, which was taught by the Secret Service and the Drug Enforcement Administration of the United States of America.
This course was designed to teach agents how to implement technology and to provide them with state-of-the-art tactics to meet the changing needs of cyber-investigations and, thus, achieve successful arrests, seizures, and prosecution of transnational criminal organizations.
As part of the training, practicals were held in which law enforcement professionals addressed various scenarios to detect illegal activities and conduct undercover investigations. This course was attended by 32 officials from Argentina, Bahamas, Belize, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Panama, Uruguay, and El Salvador.
