ILEA San Salvador provided training on leadership for women

The International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA San Salvador), successfully closed the course on Leadership for Women in Law Enforcement, where more than 70 female officials from Argentina, Bahamas, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Honduras, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and El Salvador participated.

A forum was held, on the last day of training, with the participation of four successful, professional women who shared stories, challenges and experiences in their respective areas: Commissioners Zelma Escalante and Corina Palma, of the National Civil Police; Judge Paola Guzman, of the Supreme Court of Justice of El Salvador; and Prosecutor Claudia Martinez, of the Attorney General's Office of the Republic of El Salvador.

This course was taught by the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) and focused on analyzing leadership from a female perspective, addressing topics such as male and female communication styles, creating a positive and motivating work environment, gender stereotypes, leadership styles, planning, and setting professional goals.
