The International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA San Salvador), held the closing ceremony of the Homicide Investigation course, which was developed during a week by officers of the Denver Police Department (DPD).
Thirty-five law enforcement officers from Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Brazil, Suriname, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, and El Salvador participated in the course.
The official ceremony was attended by the head of the Specialized Anti-Gang and Homicide Unit of the Attorney General's Office, Alvin Serrano, who acknowledged the efforts of ILEA and the governments of El Salvador and the United States to professionalize investigative work in this area.
