This Friday we closed two courses focused on combating crimes related to drug trafficking and human trafficking. The advanced training for Special Investigations Units was developed by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), with the participation of 27 law enforcement officers from Colombia, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama, Dominican Republic and El Salvador.

The Human Trafficking and Child Exploitation course was carried out in virtual mode, where 46 officers from Bahamas, Barbados, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Haiti, Mexico, Panama, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines and El Salvador participated. This training was delivered by experts in the field representing the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
