ILEA trained 28 law enforcement officials on tactical safety

The International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA San Salvador) successfully closed its course on Tactical Safety and Planning, taught by agents of the Drug Enforcement Administration of the United States of America (DEA).

The training lasted two weeks, in which 28 law enforcement officials from Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and El Salvador participated in practical excercises to dismantle criminal structures. This will enable officers to elevate their knowledge and expertise to a higher level in preparation for their mission.

As an institution, we are working to provide the necessary conditions for the learning and teaching processes to be effective, since the professionalization of security forces, through high-level training, is ILEA San Salvador's main commitment in order to strengthen the fight against organized crime.

During the closing ceremony, the Director of ILEA for the Government of the United States, Brent Brown, thanked the participants and instructors for their efforts and dedication in carrying out this course and encouraged them to become multipliers of the newly acquired knowledge upon returning to their workplaces.
