On this day, the International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA San Salvador), closed two successful courses titled International Post-Blast Investigations and Emerging Trends of Synthetic Drugs.
Seventy officials, of government agencies from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Paraguay, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay, and El Salvador, were trained by experts of the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
Both courses took place in an environment of constant learning in which instructors used different teaching techniques and practical exercises, held at the Changallo shooting range, involving different types of explosives. Additionally, the participants had the opportunity to learn about the various emerging drugs that affect society.
The governments of the United States and El Salvador maintain a very strong link in the area of security that goes hand in hand with the defense of human rights, which is their reason for their firm commitment to support law enforcement through different trainings that positively contribute to the fight against organized crime in the region.
