Students from the Remberto Trujillo Diaz National Institute of Jayaque visited our facilities on October 23, as part of the Youth Violence Prevention Program that ILEA San Salvador promotes with support from the INL.

The youth received orientation from two trainers from the Office of the Prosecutor General of the Republic, who spoke to them about their rights, steps to follow when filing a report with authorities about a crime and gender violence, among other topics. They did learning activities recreating scenes from daily life, and showing the risks that making bad choices entail.

Students also interacted with law enforcement officers from Central America, South America and the Caribbean from the Crime Scene Management and Forensic Work Course, who spoke to them about the work they perform as officers and encouraged them to continue with their education.
