ILEA closed course on leadership in crisis situations

The International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA San Salvador) ended today the virtual course on Leadership in a Crisis, which was taught to 31 officials from Argentina, Suriname, Uruguay, and El Salvador, by instructors from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC).

This training sought to challenge the participants' ability to apply leadership and decision-making skills in a crisis situation. In addition, the course addressed competencies developed by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in areas such as influence and negotiation, interpersonal skills, problem solving, crisis management, critical and creative thinking.
